IMC-Jordan Updates

The Institute of Management Consultants and Trainers of Jordan (IMC-Jordan) has elected a new board of directors during its annual general assembly meeting last April. IMC-Jordan's newly elected board will serve a three-year term. The following active members were elected for the board:

Tamara Abdel Jaber, CMC - Chairperson
Tamara Abdel-Jaber is a co-founder and an executive board member at Palma.  As Executive Board Member, she is responsible for strategy, corporate governance, performance management and business development. Tamara is a member of the Young Arab Leaders, a pan-Arab organization with the mandate to spread modern leadership values and fostering the development of future Arab leaders. Additionally, she currently serves on the board of the Institute of Management Consultants and Trainers – Jordan and serves for the second term as the board chairperson.

Tamara was recently selected to take part in the 2009 Fortune/ U.S. State Department Global Women Mentoring Partnership where she was mentored by c-level executives at Accenture in New York and Chicago. She participated and spoke at the 2009 Fortune Most Powerful Women Summit in San Diego, USA. She also participated as a member of the official Middle East delegation to the Global Women’s Forum in Deauville, France in Oct 2009. Tamara was recently selected to participate in the Presidential Entrepreneurship Summit, USA.

In recognition to Tamara’s contribution to spark business innovation and entrepreneurship in the MENA region, she has been ranked at number 39 of 100 Most Powerful Arab Women for 2011.
Wasfi O. Masri, PMP – Vice Chairman
Wasfi O. Masri is an Executive Manager at Ernst & Young in Jordan. As Executive Manager at E&Y, Wasfi leads a team of consultants in Organization Development, Human Resources Management, Performance Management, Process Transformation, and IT Advisory.

Wasfi is a graduate of the American University of Beirut (AUB) and a certified Project Management Professional (PMP).

During his prolonged career as a Management Consultant, Wasfi has led and participated in several consulting assignments on local and regional levels for private, public and non-governmental entities across several industries; namely: Real Estate, Banking & Financial Institutions, Utilities, Automotive, Manufacturing and Services.
Ramzi Qushair, MBA – Treasurer
Ramzi Qushair is a consulting director and the regional CFO Service Line lead at Deloitte & Touche (M.E.)

With a successful track record of more than 19 years in leading management consulting assignments across the region, his wide range of experience have covered the public sector, non- government organizations, and financial institutions.  His expertise includes financial services refurbishment, overseeing enterprise resource planning (ERP) implementations, and strategic and operational overhauling.  A veteran in the industry, Ramzi held a number of senior executive, and advisory roles in several principal management consulting firms across the region including Deloitte and Accenture.

Ramzi also holds the role of the Deloitte Consulting – Country Manager, in which he is responsible for managing the practices presence in Jordan in addition to allocating resources regionally and setting the strategic objectives for the Jordanian market.  Ramzi hold a bachelor degree in Finance and an MBA. 

Maqbouleh Hammoudeh, CMC – Secretary General
Dr. Hammoudeh holds Doctor-act degree in Quality, Sustainability, and Corporate Social Responsibility: from Islamic perspectives 2009. And M.Sc. Degree in Transformation Management, from the University of Buckingham in U.K 2003, she has a diverse experience in different management disciplines. 

She is working as a General Manager for over 30 years for team International engineering and management consultants, in Amman – Jordan, in addition to her work as senior management consultant in Organizational Development, Human Recourses Systems based on local culture, Quality management international standards systems and Strategic Planning. She implemented Islamic values to rebuild Organizational Culture.

She conducts many training courses in HR development, Leadership skills; Values managed organizations, and Corporate Social Responsibility.

She attended many conferences and forums in Jordan and abroad as key speaker in divers’ subjects in transformation management.

She holds CMC since 1998, and conducts the course of CMC for professional consultants and she is a member in the Jordan Quality Association. 

Laith Al Qasem - Board Member
Laith Al-Qasem currently holds several positions: Chairman of Arabian Business Consultants for Development, Chief of Party of the USAID funded Jordan Economic Development Program, Chairman of RUBICON (Jordan Training Technology Group).  Mr. Al-Qasem is a member of the Jordanian Economic and Social Council, founder and board member of the Young Entrepreneurs Association, President of Partners Jordan for Democratic Change, Chairman of the Al-Aman fund for Orphans, Treasurer and board member of Tkiyet Um Ali.

Mr. Al-Qasem's career spans both technology and investment. He served as Chief Executive Officer of the Jordan Technology Group (JTG) from 1990-2003 where he was intimately involved in 16 technology oriented start-up companies.  Mr. Al-Qasem was an equity and fixed income investment manager at the Arab Jordan Investment Bank from 1988-1989.  Previously, he was the marketing and finance manager for Royal Jordanian’s Engine Overhaul facility from 1986-1988, and an engineer with the Jordan Electricity Authority in 1985.  Mr. Al Qasem began his technology career as an engineer for Hughes Aircraft Ground Systems Group in Fullerton, California from 1983-1984.

Mr. Al Qasem is a Georgetown Fellow, where he received an M.B.A with a concentration in finance and investment management, he also graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor where he received a B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering.
Nabila F. T. Abdel Masieh – Board Member
Born in Sudan of Egyptian parents, Nabila lived in 4 continents, 8 countries and currently a Jordanian Citizen living in Jordan for the last 30+ years.   
Nabila is currently the Managing Director of EN-CAPS Organization Transformation Company and member firm of EWKI an International Consulting Firm Executive Search and Human Resources Outsourcing Services. EN-CAPS customers span the Middle East from Jordan to the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Egypt, Bahrain Sudan, Syria and Tunisia. EN-CAPS clients include National & Regional Companies, International Agencies, Governmental, and Non-governmental organizations and Privately owned enterprises.

As a consultant Nabila worked on projects financed by the International Donor Community like the EU, USAID, UN Agencies, and The World Bank and with International consortiums like KPMG and BaeringPoint and others.

As an employee Nabila worked with large Multinationals like ALICO American Life, Insurance Company, KPMG International, Coca Cola International and Four Seasons Hotels Group.

Nabila is a member of a number of International and national associations on which she holds the following:
• Vice President and then President of the International Women Forum- Jordan Chapter (IWF-J) years 2007-2010
• Member of Business Professional Women Association Amman
• A founding member of  Jordanian the Human Resources Managers Association (JHRMA)
• Member of ASHREM (Association of Human Resources Executives Middle East)
• Member of the Institute of Management Consultants since 2005

Nabila holds educational degrees from the most prestigious schools in Europe and the US:-
• Doctorate of Business Administration- DBA  from Chicago Graduate Business School- 2009
• Blended International MBA from Instituto de Empressa in Madrid -2006
• MBA- in Organization Development & Psychology, from Boston University, USA-1983
• MSc- in Management Information Systems  from Leeds University, UK1979
• BSC-Bachelor of Science, double major in Business Administration and Marketing from the University of Khartoum Sudan: 1977
Ghanem Al Jamal, CMC - Board Member
Ghanem Al Jamal is a Certified Management Consultant (CMC) with 18 year of quality experience in business consulting, research and training. He has been involved with a variety of engagements for clients in different industries in Jordan and the region. His areas of consulting and research experience include business planning and strategy, organization development, marketing strategy and planning, marketing research, and feasibility studies. His areas of training experience include soft skills, customer service, and sales training. The industries he had experience with include public sector, financial services, real estate, hospitality, logistics, health care, manufacturing, and high-tech.

Ghanem was the Manager in the consulting practice of Deloitte & Touche (Middle East) in Amman and currently is the Managing Director of ConsultWorks; the management consulting firm he established in 2007.

He is active at the local community level supporting women and youth business development initiatives. He is, also, a member of many prime professional and business associations which offered him unique opportunities to attended many conferences and events locally, regionally and internationally. Ghanem holds a PhD degree in Business, and had previous part-time university teaching experience.
