Constantinus International Award

A celebration of 25 years of the ICMCI

A collection of best practice and activities of member Institutes

How to become a CMC

There are certain pre-requisites for a management consultant to be eligible to be assessed as a CMC. The ICMCI requirements are shown here.

The CMC is awarded by your national management consulting institute. (For a list of those countries where there is a management consulting institute which can award the CMC, click here.)

If you are resident in a country which does not have such an institute, then it may be possible for you to be assessed for the CMC through the CMC Global Institute, which exists to provide this and other services in countries where there is not yet a full member of the ICMCI.

As well as the standard route there is the option for the ICMCI member institutes to use an alternative route to award the CMC to senior and experienced management consultants who are recognised leaders and outstanding practitioners within their professional communities. This is called the Profession Leader route and details of this are given in the Certification Scheme Manual.
