“REFLECTIONS OF CORPORATE GOVERNANCE AND CHANGE MANAGEMENT PROJECTS ON CONSULTANCY SERVICES”

1ST SUMMIT AND AWARD OF TURKEY MANAGEMENT CONSULTANCY ASSOCIATION

The Management Consultants’ Association in Turkey has constructed an award process, while aiming to improve the service quality of the consultancy sector. To that end, the process will play a supportive role in terms of development, by putting forth both directive and correct examples.

Starting from 2014, the most successful Management Consultancy projects will be determined and awarded.

With this object in mind, determining the projects, which are deemed to carry the utmost additional value by using the right methods will therefore ensure that the examples and correct approaches come into prominence.

The criteria of successful management consultancy projects are presented with the award process. Hence, guiding definitions have been composed for the clients, so that they can plan the consultancy services with the right expectations.

The application should be made by both the Client and Consultant. The success of Management Consultants’ Association does not only rely upon the consultant’s performance. The establishment’s management and the consultant, collaborating in harmony is an indispensable factor for the project to be successful. Therefore, “the project” shall be the nominee for the award.  The evaluation will start from the very first phase of identifying / defining the need to the performance of the project, in terms of its results and achievements of goals and also include the sustainability structure.

The projects will be evaluated in four categories:

1.  INFORMATION SYSTEMS

2.  TRAININGS

3.  QUALITY / ENVIRONMENT

4.  IMPROVEMENT OF STRATEGIC AND MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS

PROJECT EVALUATION CRITERIA

  1. THE PROCESS OF DETERMINING THE NEEDS, SCOPE AND SOURCES OF THE PROJECT
  2. PRESENTING THE METHODOLOGY/STANDARDS, HARMONIZING THEM WITH THE ESTABLISHMENT
  3. CARRYING OUT THE PROJECT EXECUTION – PROJECT MANAGEMENT
  4. MEASURING THE PROJECT PERFORMANCE
  5. PROVIDING THE SUSTAINABILITY OF THE PROJECT
  6. MANAGING THE PROJECT-SOURCED CHANGES

 

The Summit  program covers;

  • Speech on Corporate Governance
  • Panel on Corporate Governance – participants will be the representatives of consultancy, private and public sector.
  • Speech on Change Management
  • Panel on Change Management – participants will be the representatives of consultancy, private and public sector

At the end of the day, an award will be rewarded  both consultant and company which performed and implemented the project.
