|During the yearly Dutch New Year's Honours, Ooa (orde van organisatiekundigen en adviseurs) Honorary member Rob Wagenaar was knighted in the Order of Orange-Nassa on 25 April. Mayor Naafs from the local council ''Utrechtse Heuvelrug'' was pleased to award him with the related decorations. Wagenaar received this decoration for his long and volunteer effort to the organization advisory sector both at national and international level. The presentation of the Royal Honours take place on a yearly basis at the occasion of the celebration of Kings Day.|
Rob Wagenaar is a devoted member of the Ooa since 1980. The Ooa (founded in 1940) is the eldest professional association of management consultants in the world. Rob was elected chairman of the association in 2002. He was devoted to re structure the Ooa, profiling and positioning management consultants (e.g. by compiling the Code of Conduct for knowledge intensive service providers such as management consultants, interim managers, communication advisors and IT professionals). For this merit he was nominated honorary member of the Ooa in 2008.
