It was a warm (weather, reception and hospitality) and enriching (learning, networking) experience in Nay Pyi Taw and Yangon in Myanmar. Thanks to IMC M / IMC T for hosting the ICMCI AP Hub meeting.
The meeting kicked off with more than 100 delegates from about 20 countries, three Ministers during the opening day, many other senior government officials, and a celebrity Master-of-ceremony from Thailand; Dr. Kritika Kongsompong.
It was an honorable presence of H.E. Dr. Kan Zaw, Union Minister, Ministry of National Planning and Economic Development, H.E. Mr. Ohn Myint, Union Minister, Ministry of Livestock, Fisheries and Rural Development to the first meeting day and H.E. Mr. Soe Thane, Union Minister for President Office.
IMCM started the day with the donation of a “MobiSchool” to the Rural Development Ministry with the promise of many more to come. The presentations and interaction from participants was notable. The Cultural Gala Dinner was a true reflection of what Myanmar is, a hospitable, happy, and beautiful country. The branding of both IMCM and ICMCI was breath-taking, the huge stage back-drop, the posters everywhere, and the conference material. It can be safely described as a breakthrough ICMCI AP Hub event.
It was also a pleasure to meet with the big truly international family of ICMCI, it was a unique event with unique people administering and participating in it. This is what our family is all about, sharing and mutually growing from each other’s experience and knowledge.
