While the life-blood of any entity is its members, its continuity depends upon the succession of dedicated leadership. One of the standing committees of ICMCI is the Succession Planning Committee, which is normally chaired by the immediate past chairman.
Its role is to monitor the contributions of ICMCI participants with the aim of identifying future Executive Committee candidates. As the next ICMCI chair usually is selected after at least one other term on the Executive Committee, it is important to have a long term view when nominating new candidates for the ICMCI Executive Committee.
