The Council of ICMCI convenes every other year as a Congress of management consulting institutes. In addition to delegates appointed to represent the member institutes of ICMCI, any constituent of an ICMCI member institute is welcome to participate in these biennial Council meetings. Observers from nations that do not have representation on the ICMCI Council may attend by special invitation from the chairman. There is usually an after-hours social program for delegates and guests.

In alternate years members of the executive and operating committees meet. This meeting is often open to contributors and observers by special invitation.

The last Operating Committee Meeting was in San Francisco, California in Octoberl 2002. The last Congress was held in Sydney, Australia in October 2001. The next Congress is scheduled for Istanbul in September 2003. For a list of past meetings, see our History page.
